Position: Dental Office Administrator/Receptionist (Full-Time)
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for patients, delivering excellent customer service in person, over the phone, and via email.
- Coordinate and manage patient appointments, filling vacancies and optimizing schedules.
- Handle patient inquiries, complete referrals, and liaise with other offices clearly and professionally.
- Bill patients and insurance companies, ensuring accuracy in patient accounts.
- Follow up on outstanding accounts receivable from insurance companies and patients.
- Maintain patient files, charts, and reports, and enter data into the electronic records system.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Experience as a dental office administrator or receptionist.
- Expertise in optimizing patient appointment schedules.
- Strong understanding of maintaining patient privacy and confidentiality.
- Flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings and weekends as required.
- Previous dental assisting experience (preferred).
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
- Punctual, reliable, and adaptable to various patient needs.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to respond to diverse patients.
- Experience with dental practice management software (e.g., Dentrix) is an asset.
