Overview
We are looking for a positive, energetic team member to join Accounts Receivable Team.
Responsibilities
- Review and process guest refunds
- Invoice completion and payment reconciliation
- Investigate chargebacks and disputes
- Review contracts to ensure elements are accurate
Qualifications
· Math skills and problem solving skills
· An understanding of the invoicing and billing cycle
· Excellent attention to detail and can work to a defined timeline.
· Working knowledge of Excel and Word and how to import and export various files into these programs and forward thinking to look for ways to improve processes and efficiencies
· Ability to learn our Hotel systems – training will be provided
· Highly organized and strong time management skills
· Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
· Ability to respond/adapt to changing work volume
· Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work cooperatively within a team setting to anticipate and help fellow colleagues as well as working independently
· A recent graduate of, or working towards a bookkeeping/accounting program is preferred
· Current invoicing experience an asset
