Payroll and Accounts Payable Clerk:
Responsibilities:
Manage Payable, including (among others) posting invoices, matching invoices to purchase orders and packing slips, processing credit card payments and reconciling credit card payments, reconciling vendor statements;
- Must have minimum 2 years experience in similar field in Canada
- Prepare payroll along with related duties on a weekly basis
- Process the incoming invoices from the Vendors to make it through the payment
- Keep records of Credit card and Gas card receipts for accountability
- Keep up to date records of Employees information in the system such as new hire, laid-off/terminated, tracking their eligibility for benefits and pension, accounting vacation, etc
- Record monthly RSP and DPSP contributions per employee per company. Balance to payroll reports. Submit schedule of contributions to the provider
- Tracking of inventory list
- Order, receive and distribute Office supplies
- Vehicles: Track and renew vehicle & trailer license registration and Insurance
Skills and Qualifications:
- Post -secondary education in bookkeeping or related field;
- Payroll experience
- Fluency in Microsoft Office suite
- Bilingual (French/English) preferable but not a necessity. Must be fluent in English
