Toyota Canada Inc. (TCI) currently has an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Analyst to join our Finance & Accounting department. This is a 12-month contract opportunity that will report to the Manager, Financial Operations. This individual will be responsible for the timely collection and reporting of accounts receivable as well as troubleshooting and reconciling any discrepancies. This individual will also provide support for month-end, audit and cash forecasting as well as contribute to reporting on overall financial results.

What You’ll be Doing:
- Analyze daily incoming payments in SAP, reconcile against cheque/EFT and bank file. Investigate discrepancies and book necessary manual entries
- Assist with internal and external customer inquiries on a daily basis
- Reconcile Accounts Receivable sub-ledger to general ledger balances on a monthly basis. Reconcile all related AR general ledger and determine reclass and write-off to ensure accuracy of account balances
- Work closely with internal business units to analyze internal department transactions
- Prepare monthly charge back to related parties. Reconcile the amount against GL and prepare billing with supporting documents
- Follow up with customers on aged receivable balances and prepare refunds for credit balances
- Reconcile dealer accounts for Buy and Sell transactions
- Prepare monthly Accounts Receivable analysis and present to management team
- Perform procedures to close Month End, Quarter End and Year End
- Document Standard Operating Procedures for internal control purposes
- Support SAP stabilization & remediation process. Be proactive to find out potential issues and be innovative in recommending solutions
- Work with department Functional Analyst on the development and testing of system enhancement
- Continuously improve processes and deliver customer-focused services
What You’ll Bring:
- College diploma or university degree in a related field
- 3+ years’ experience in accounts receivable
- Experience with an ERP system (Lawson/SAP preferred)
- Strong knowledge in accounting processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Strong ability to manage time effectively
- Ability to work as a team or independently with minimum supervision
- Customer focus (Internal and External customers)
- Ability to take initiative and improve business processes
- Personal integrity and ethics
