Team Harding is on the lookout for a diligent and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Assistant to join our team. As an Accounts Payable Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting our finance department by ensuring the accurate and timely processing of a high volume of invoices. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will be key in maintaining the efficiency of our accounts payable processes. This is a full-time, permanent position based in our new office, conveniently located in the Kanata West business park.
Responsibilities:
- Enter and verify a high volume of invoices in the accounting system, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Match invoices with purchase orders (POs) and packing slips, and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Reconcile vendor statements
- Scan and digitize hard copy invoices, purchase orders, and packing slips, ensuring they are accurately filed and organized in SharePoint for easy retrieval and record-keeping.
- Provide administrative support to the finance team as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in accounting or business is an asset
- Experience with Jonas software is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
