Overview:
The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for professional and timely responses to all vendor inquiries. They are responsible for maintaining these vendor relationships which includes performing invoice status checks, monitoring aged invoices, problem invoice resolution, providing payment details and reconciling supplier statements. They will work with multiple internal departments and use existing systems and tools to monitor and ensure prompt payments, resolve disputes and assist with payment processing and tax reporting.
Responsibilities:
Daily Tasks:
Manage the Accounts Payable Regional Supplier Email inbox. Track inquiries and provide timely responses. Follow up on any investigations.
Use SAP, Concur and Weekly forecast Files to check invoice and payment status
Track Payment Escalations
Manual uploading of Supplier invoices to Concur for Processing for rush requests
Reconcile Vendor statements and action missing invoices or follow up on unapproved or unpaid invoices
Other tasks you may assist with:
Provide Vendor Payment support as needed
Monitor Concur Invoice queues to assist with coding, matching and processing of aged invoices
Review and assist/correct invoice to PO matching, resolve exception messages and follow up with requestor
Assist with month end accruals and AP/AR offsets
Process correcting or adjusting entries
Requirements:
College diploma preferred; or high school diploma + currently working to complete College level Accounting Diploma
Customer service experience
Strong Communication skills, including email correspondence
Ability to identify inconsistencies and enforce policy compliance
Provide timely support in a prompt and professional manner
Strong Excel skills
High attention to detail
