Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Assistant Controller to join our accounting team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the Controller in managing the financial operations of the organization. This position requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in accounting software, and a solid understanding of accounting principles. The Assistant Controller will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Duties
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and forecasts.
- Payroll processing and ensure accuracy in employee compensation.
- Conduct account analysis and reconciliation to maintain accurate financial records.
- Utilize accounting DMS System, proficient with Excel.
- Support the month-end close process by ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.
- Maintain compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
- Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in a supervisory capacity.
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes and regulations.
- Proficiency in budgeting, account analysis, and account reconciliation.
- Experience with accounting software such as Excel, R&R Ignite is highly desirable.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Strong analytical skills.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
