The Bookkeeper Assistant will act as a point of contact in providing support to our managers and employees, assisting in daily office needs and responsible for recording and maintaining the company's daily financial transactions.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Assist Bookkeeper (Payables, Reconciliations, collections)
- Receivables
- Preparing bank deposits
- Communicate and assist Shoreline accountant
- Prepare invoices & deposit requests
- Process, file and update documents
- Assist Management with human resources (employee absences, vacations, disciplinary write-ups)
- Managing and routing phone calls appropriately
- Update office policies as directed
- Manage and order office supplies
- Address employees’ and clients’ queries (via email, phone or in-person)
- Research best pricing for company purchases
- Organize company documents into updated filing systems
- Maintaining physical and digital employee records

Qualifications:
- Proven work experience as an Administrative Coordinator, Administrator or similar role.
- Minimum 2 year of previous bookkeeping experience
- Minimum 2 year experience using QuickBooks Online
