The Bookkeeper Assistant will act as a point of contact in providing support to our managers and employees, assisting in daily office needs and responsible for recording and maintaining the company's daily financial transactions.

Duties and responsibilities:

Assist Bookkeeper (Payables, Reconciliations, collections)
Receivables
Preparing bank deposits
Communicate and assist Shoreline accountant
Prepare invoices & deposit requests
Process, file and update documents
Assist Management with human resources (employee absences, vacations, disciplinary write-ups)
Managing and routing phone calls appropriately
Update office policies as directed
Manage and order office supplies
Address employees’ and clients’ queries (via email, phone or in-person)
Research best pricing for company purchases
Organize company documents into updated filing systems
Maintaining physical and digital employee records

Qualifications:

Proven work experience as an Administrative Coordinator, Administrator or similar role.
Minimum 2 year of previous bookkeeping experience
Minimum 2 year experience using QuickBooks Online
