Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Maintenance of all necessary documentation for processing accounts receivables and accounts
payables.
• Process documentation necessary to support preparation of cheques / wire transfers.
• Complete cheque runs and wire transfers.
• Sort, match, file, and input accounts payable data to ensure accurate tracking and payment of
supplier invoices.
• Recognition of expenses in the correct accounting period.
• Participate in year-end processing including supplier statement reconciliation and summary of
annual purchases by vendor.
• Assist with internal and external year end reporting requirements.
• Preparation of Excel spreadsheets as required.
• Accounts receivable / Accounts payable sub ledger maintenance.
• Cash receipts.
• Some general accounting duties.
• Comply with requirements as outlined in company handbook.
• Practice good housekeeping.
• Performs other duties as necessary in support of departmental goals.
• Comply with requirements as outlined in the company handbook and OHSA.
• Follows and comply with all Operational Procedures and policies as outlined in the Employee
Handbook, Quality and Environment programs (i.e. IATF, ISO 14001)
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• One (1) year business college; or one to three years related experience and/or training; or
equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to effectively present information in one on one and small group situations to customers,
clients, and other employees of the

• Computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel preferred
