Purpose of the position:
Reporting to the Controller, the Accounting Technician will be called upon to work as part of a dynamic team to support the property accountants in their daily work. The incumbent must be organized and have a proven ability to manage a high volume of information and requests from multiple players with the same quality of work while respecting tight deadlines and working autonomously.
More precisely, your daily life with us will be like :
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
- Prepare accounting entries
- Reconcile certain balance sheet items and update continuity schedules
- Prepare billing pre-lists
- Reconcile sales taxes and file returns
- Prepare various financial reports
- Answer questions from internal and external customers
- Participate in various special projects
- All other related tasks

Qualifications required:
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience
- Strong interpersonal skills, including proven ability to establish and maintain good rapport
- Proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook
- Knowledge of Hopem software (an asset)Form
