Bookkeeper/ AR/ Customer Service / Office Assistant
We are a growing team looking for a bookkeeper and general office assistant full-time, seasonal or part time . You would be working with 2 or 3 office staff
Diploma in accounting or bookkeeping. Must have strong understanding of accounting principles
Schedule service calls and follow-up for completion/ general office and administrative duties
Experience with Quickbooks and Microsoft Office
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise diplomacy and discretion
Excellent attention to detail with high degree of accuracy and speed, without supervision
Speak and write English fluently
Responsibilities
Be able to perform full cycle bookkeeping such as AP, AR, payroll, HST and payroll remittances, bank reconciliation
Assist external accountant to complete corporate statements and filings
General office duties: filing, answer phones, schedule service calls, respond to inquiries , government remittances , WSIB
Review Work Orders for completeness Prepare invoices and follow-up on outstanding AR
Apply cheques, credit cards and EFT payments to accounts
Address customer concerns and investigate issues for resolution
Run, review and send out statements
Respond to and resolve customer inquiries and address customer concerns
Whatever it takes to get the job done
$20 to $28 per hour to be discussed
40 hours per week

Pay: $20.00-$28.00 per hour
