Job Brief
We are looking for a skilled individual with a wide range of skillsets to perform a variety of accounting, finance, tax and marketing tasks within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Perform general office duties
- Help with onboarding of new clients
- Gather and obtain documents from clients during onboarding process
- Preparing and sending engagement letters
- Send documents to current clients upon request
- Filing tax compliance returns (T1,T2 etc.)
- Organizing and tracking files for important transactions, creating and maintaining an engagement database
- Attend meetings with partners to listen to and record critical information.
- Prepare briefs for partners and scheduling meetings
- Review of final client reports for spelling, grammar, and other inconsistencies.
Requirement and skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Experience working in a law firm in clerical or administrative position would be an asset
- Familiarity with basic accounting/tax procedures
- Competency in MS Office, and basic knowledge of running accounting software to obtain information or generate reports
- Problem Solving skills
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports
- Ability to perform filing and record keeping tasks
- Data entry and word processing skills
- Well organized

Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Experience:
- Administrative: 2 years (preferred)
