Payroll Clerk (Term)

Under the direction of the Payroll Supervisor, the Payroll Clerk:
processes time entries and verifies accuracy;
contacts schools for missing or incorrect time entries;
updates time entry for summer school programs;
troubleshoots and responds to time entry and general inquiries;
assists with the set-up of casual and term employees;
performs general clerical duties;
performs other duties, as assigned by the supervisor.
Required Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
one year of Community college in a related field;
two years of related experience;
good keyboarding skills;
good interpersonal skills;
basic Excel skills;
individuals who possess an equivalent combination of education and experience may also be considered.
This is a temporary, full-time, position with an annual salary range of $52,646 – $56,854 to be prorated to the duration and FTE of the assignment as applicable.
The effective date is as soon as the recruitment process is complete with an anticipated end date of October 31, 2024.
