Job Summary:
As an Accounts Payable Specialist at Victoria Contracting, you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate financial transactions by processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and supporting the financial operations of the company.
Job Description:
- Full cycle accounts payable invoice and payment processing
- Code and enter high volume of invoices
- Credit card reconciliations
- Credit applications and online account setups as required
- Setup new vendors and maintain vendor records
- Reconcile vendor statements and respond to vendor inquiries
- Coordinate with internal departments to obtain invoice approvals
- Match invoices to purchase orders and receipts
- Assist in identifying opportunities to improve accounts payable process
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in accounts payable
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software, Sage 100 contractor experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
