Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper and Payroll Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records, managing accounts, ensuring compliance with accounting regulations and for making sure employees are paid accurately and on time. The candidate will manage payroll functions, including calculating employee paychecks, withholding taxes, and any other deductions, as well as maintaining accurate payroll records.
Duties
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Perform bank reconciliations and account analysis
- Utilize accounting software using QuickBooks to maintain financial records
- Assist with budgeting and financial reporting
- Support the preparation of financial statements
- Conduct clerical tasks related to the finance department
- Manage payroll functions and duties
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in accounting software QuickBooks
- Experience with Wagepoint
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
- Experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation
- Ability to perform account analysis and budgeting tasks
- Managing payroll
