As part of our Shared Services group, comprised of Finance, Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, Commercial, Legal and Facilities, we support the business achieve their goals through a range of strong technical capabilities. We ensure delivery of services through the skills of our people, methodologies, and systems.
We are seeking a highly organized and efficient individual to join our team as an Accounts Receivable Analyst for a three (3) month contract. In this role, you will be responsible for managing accounts receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in project closure requests. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, a problem solver, and eager to learn. They should have a sound knowledge of Excel and SAP.
Responsibilities:
- Process project closure request in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring all necessary documentation and approvals are obtained.
- Process write-offs and write ups requests in system, following company policies and procedures.
- Preparation of receivables reports for the Business.
- Handle ad hoc receivable queries, providing timely and accurate information to internal and external stakeholders.
- Update the Top 100 problem receivables report with receipts, maintaining accurate records and providing analysis as needed.
- Provide guidance and support to project managers and sponsors on project closure requests.
- Challenge and question existing processes and procedures, seeking opportunities for improvement and efficiency.
- Manage Hatch fleet vehicles reporting.
- Management of TCM/SAP prospect to client conversions
- Collection and submission of environmental footprint data for Hatch environmental group
- Responding to audit queries and assisting with audit requests as needed
- Other tasks as assigned by leadership.
Requirements:
- Accounting diploma or bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable or related role
- Strong knowledge of Excel, including pivot tables, v-lookups, and working with large amounts of data
- Experience with SAP ERP system
- Familiarity with Hatch's organizational structure, projects, and systems is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently with individuals at all levels
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with tight deadlines and last-minute requests
- Eager to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
- Willingness to assist with basic administration and processing tasks when needed
- Proactive and not afraid to challenge existing processes and seek
