Overview
IKM Testing (Canada) Limited started in NL in 2000 and is a member company within the Norwegian IKM Group of Companies. Established in 1989, IKM has become a Major Supplier of Mechanical Completion / Commissioning and Inspection services to both onshore/offshore industries in Norway, Canada, and other international locations.
Duties
- Manage all aspects of financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable processes to ensure timely and accurate processing.
- Conduct account reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and accounting standards.
- Supervise payroll processing and ensure timely payment of employee salaries.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights that drive operational efficiency.
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar tools for effective financial management.
- Prepare detailed account analysis to identify trends and variances in financial performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role in accounting/finance.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) is highly desirable.
- Experience with budgeting, account reconciliation, payroll management, and account analysis.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Exceptional communication skills for collaborating with team members across various departments.
