**Overview:**
We are seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial concepts and accounting principles, including GAAP. This position offers the opportunity to work with a variety of accounting tasks and software applications. **Responsibilities:**
- Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes - Perform account analysis and reconciliations - Process payroll accurately and in a timely manner - Maintain the general ledger and ensure data accuracy - Utilize accounting software, such as QuickBooks, for financial recordkeeping - Handle debits and credits accurately
**Skills:** The ideal candidate should possess the following skills: - Proficiency in GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) - Experience in public accounting is a plus - Strong knowledge of QuickBooks or similar accounting software - Familiarity with financial concepts and terminology - Ability to perform account analysis efficiently - Experience with payroll processing - Competency in general ledger accounting practices
