Job Summary
We are a manufacturing company seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accountant and Office Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office environment, particularly in the areas of AP, AR, and general HR adminstrative duties. This position requires excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and proficiency in data entry tasks. The Office Administrator will be the point of contact for AP, AR, HR and administrative matters.
Duties
- Human Resources Administrator
- Develop and post job opportunities
- Review job applications and resumes and filter
- Draft contracts and offer letters
- Oversee effective onboarding and efficient offboarding of the employees
AP/AR Coordinator
- Manage and coordinate the Accounts Payable process by ensuring all vendor payable invoices are in the accounting system and ready to pay.
- Manage the collections process for Accounts Recievable.
- Liaise with vendors and customers as needed.
- Ensure smooth processes and clear communication between all parties.
- Perform various financial or operational analyses as required by senior management.
Key skills and requirements:
- 3 - 5 years bookkeeping experience with focus on A/P and A/R
- Cost accounting/manufacturing industry experience an asset
- Proficient use of Quickbooks and Excel
- Excellent communication skills - oral and written
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $26.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
