Firm Management Corporation is searching for a self-motivated Accounts Receivable Clerk in Saanichton, BC. Firm Management Corporation is a locally owned property management company, founded in 1993. Since then, they have grown to become one of the largest and most respected strata management companies on Vancouver Island. In this full-time, in person role, you will be reporting to the Controller, and you will be an integral part of the financial services team, ensuring accurate and timely processing of receivables on behalf of the Strata Corporations.
Firm Management offers you:
· A starting salary of $43,680 per year (commensurate with skills, experience and education)

What your day may include:
· Processing incoming payments by recording cheques and cash to customer accounts.
· Preparing bank deposits.
· Processing monthly Pre-Authorized Debits.
· Management of returned/NSF’s funds.
· Creating charges for miscellaneous items to customer accounts.
· Trust Account bank reconciliations.
· Management of adjustments and account reconciliation as requested.
· Providing account information as requested.
· Ensuring full compliance with the company’s Health& Safety, Code of Integrity, and Professional Conduct policies.
· Ensuring compliance with the Strata Property Act is maintained.
Our ideal Accounts Receivable Clerk brings:
· 1 year of Accounts Receivable experience with a good understanding of Accounts Receivable and accounting principles
· Proficiency in the full suite of Microsoft Office applications, with good Excel skills, and experience with Yardi highly beneficial
· Candidates must possess excellent English written and oral skills, including grammar and composition
