About the job:
- General accounts Payable duties.
- Other duties as assigned.
What we need from you:
- Experience: 1+ years accounting experience in the Hotel/Hospitality industry preferably in multiple company environment.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet tight timelines while managing multiple projects and priorities effectively. Detail oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages.
- Computer Skills: Strong knowledge Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook required.
- Experience with Sage accounting program preferred.
- Hotel PMS experience is an asset. Working knowledge of Opera is preferred but not required.
Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12-13 months
Pay: From $21.50 per hour
Expected hours: 37.5 per week
