Job Description
As the Bookkeeper, you will oversee the company’s financial records, ensuring all transactions are accurate, timely, and well-documented. You will play an essential role in processing day-to-day transactions, payroll, and financial reporting, helping us make sound financial decisions and maintain smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Accounts Management: Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, payments, and collections.
- Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other accounts to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Payroll Processing: Prepare payroll for employees, track hours and deductions, and record payroll expenses accurately.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow summaries.
- Expense Tracking: Monitor and record expenses, ensuring all receipts and transactions are filed and classified correctly.
- Data Accuracy: Enter and maintain accurate records in accounting software.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant financial and regulatory requirements, protecting company financial information.
Requirements
- Experience: At least 2 years of bookkeeping experience, ideally within a service-oriented company.
- Education: Diploma or certification in Accounting, Bookkeeping, or related field is preferred.
- Software Skills: Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
- Detail-Oriented: Strong attention to detail, with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Communication: Clear verbal and written communication skills for working with the team, vendors, and clients.
- Problem Solving: Ability to identify and resolve financial discrepancies.
