Responsibilities:
- Administer full-cycle bookkeeping services for a variety of clients.
- Process payroll using cloud-based software and allocate costs to the proper projects or departments.
- Prepare and file GST, PST, payroll, WCB, T4s, T5s, and other compliance reports.
- Perform month-end and quarter-end close processes, including reconciling GL accounts, bank reconciliations, prepaid expenses, and more.
- Maintain and reconcile accounts payable, accounts receivable, accrued liabilities, and intercompany transactions.
- Collaborate with clients and team members, providing exceptional client service and training junior bookkeeping staff.
- Liaise with government agencies regarding information requests, assessments, and installments.
- Identify issues, discrepancies, and out-of-scope opportunities and work with senior team members to resolve them.
- Monitor work in progress and file budgets.
Skills & Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Online and other cloud accounting software (e.g., Xero, Google Drive).
- Experience with desktop software like QuickBooks Desktop and Sage 50 is a bonus.
- Proficiency in payroll software and preparing T4s, T5s, and Records of Employment.
- Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles and processes.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently while supporting and collaborating with a team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is a plus
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to analyze financial data accurately
- Certification in bookkeeping or accounting is a plus

Pay: $28.00-$32.00 per hour
