Central City Brewers and Distillers is a craft brewery in the business of developing and selling international award-winning premium craft beer and high-quality distilled spirits brewed without compromise. Job Summary
The
Accounts Payable Administrator will perform accounting and clerical duties primarily related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable transactions. This position reports directly to the CFO and supports the finance team. This is a 2-month contract-based position with possibility of extension.
Essential Functions And Responsibilities
- Assemble, review, and verify invoices
- Communicate with other department/business unit managers to acquire appropriate approvals
- Flag, investigate and communicate any unusual or questionable invoices with relevant managers
- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
- Sort, code, and match invoices
- Enter invoices into SAP
- Prepare EFT and WIRE payment requests
- Prepare and perform weekly check runs
- Reconcile AP sub-ledger to general ledger, investigate and solve any differences
- Prepare analysis of accounts
- Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries
- Produce monthly reports
- Assist with month end closing
- Assist with audits
- Maintain vendor files
- Consistently review current AP processes and make recommendations on automation and process improvement
- Matching invoices to the PO/ GRPO.
- Identifying Chargeback from the invoices.
- CC reconciliation
- Entering Liquor Store invoices
- Other assigned administration and accounting tasks
Qualifications/Desired Attributes
- 2+ years accounts payable or general accounting experience
- SAP or other ERP experience desirable
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite, intermediate Excel skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Detail oriented, strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
