Payroll Coordinator

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Payroll Coordinator to join our team. This position is crucial in supporting the financial integrity of our company and the well-being of our employees by ensuring accurate and timely payroll and benefits administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full payroll for all employees, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Prepare and audit payroll reports, address inquiries, and resolve discrepancies.
- Oversee the administration of benefits programs, including new enrollments, changes, and terminations.
- Maintain and update pay records, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
- Prepare employment records, including ROEs, and handle terminations.
- Support employee programs such as health benefits and pensions (if applicable).
Reporting & Compliance:
- Generate ad hoc, monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll reports.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping and compliance with internal controls and external regulations.
- Conduct payroll and benefits audits, making recommendations for improvements.
Employee Support:
- Respond to payroll and benefits-related inquiries from employees with a customer-focused approach.
- Assist with performance review processes, correspondence, and other HR-related tasks as needed.

Qualifications
- University degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of payroll experience.
- Strong knowledge of payroll systems, internal controls, and compliance requirements.
- Advanced proficiency with payroll applications (ADP and HRIS experience is an asset).
- Strong Excel skills for reporting and analysis.
- Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- High energy, conscientious, and a positive team player.
