About the Role:
An Accounts Receivable Administrator processes incoming payments and prepares customer invoices in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Ensuring accuracy and efficiency of operations, processing and monitoring incoming payments, and securing revenue by verifying and posting receipts.
- Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables’ data.
- Prepare bills, invoices and bank deposits.
- Verify discrepancies by and resolve client’s billing issues with professionalism at all times.
- Maintains confidentiality
- Prepares various reports as requested by Management.
- Assist Sales and Project Management with billing inquiries and invoice discrepancies in a professional manner.
- Assist with month-end closing
- Assist with answering the phones
Qualifications:
- College diploma in Accounting or college courses in Accounting preferred
- Two or years’ of A/R experience
- Must have strong work ethic, well organized and a self-starter
- Detailed oriented, professional attitude, reliable, and time management skills
- Proficient in various Microsoft programs, Intermediate to Advance Excel skills
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing; build positive working relationships with co-workers.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment within a team and independently
