The Role
- Preparing, posting, verifying, and recording payments and transactions related to accounts receivable with utmost accuracy.
- Resolving collections by ensuring payments are made in full.
- Reconcile monthly Balance Sheet accounts.
- Auditing tenant accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Other general accounting tasks, daily reports, and special projects
- Manage entire accounts staff to achieve daily, weekly and monthly goals.
- Maintain current A/R accounts. Investigate, adjust, and resolve any outstanding balances.
- Rent collection and management of rent arrears.
- Using a high degree of discretion and keeping all information completely confidential.
Requirements
- Excellent computer skills, including a high degree of proficiency in MS Office applications and a demonstrated ability to quickly understand new software.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and communication - both oral and written
- Ability to prioritize tasks independently.
- Proficient in excel.
- Property Management experience is an asset.
Schedule – 7.5-hour shift
Salary: 43K – 48K
Work Location – Burlington (In person)
