We are seeking a proactive and driven Accounts Receivable Coordinator to manage Parts and Service Accounts Receivable (AR) and in-house leasing AR for our dealerships. This full-time role is a great opportunity to join a large, dynamic automotive group and play a key part in ensuring the financial success of our business.
Position Duties & Responsibilities
· Collections Management: Conduct daily calls and send emails to customers regarding outstanding payments, following up to ensure timely resolution.
· Account Analysis: Identify overdue accounts, analyze customer files, and perform account research to address discrepancies.
· Customer Relations: Interact with customers to resolve billing issues and payment delays in a professional and customer-centric manner.
· Lease Billing: Manage monthly billing for our in-house lease portfolio and ensure timely, accurate invoicing.
· Client File Management: Maintain accurate, up-to-date client files and ensure proper documentation for each account.
· PPSA Processing: Complete PPSA registrations and discharges for all in-house lease vehicles, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
· Monthly Statements: Prepare and issue monthly Statements of Account for all clients, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
· Financial Recording: Record cash receipts and perform daily bank deposits to ensure financial records are up to date.
· Reporting & Reconciliations: Prepare spreadsheets, accounting statements, and reports while performing account reconciliations to ensure accuracy across the board.
· Administrative Support: Handle administrative duties, such as filing, invoice retrieval, and supporting the accounting team as needed.
Qualifications
· College diploma or university degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
· 1-3 years of accounts receivable experience, preferably in a similar role or industry.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) is required. Experience with CDK (formerly ADP) automotive software is a plus.
