We are looking for a Human Resources Administrator, who will be responsible for providing administrative and clerical support, ensuring effective employee relations, and supporting various HR projects and initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, an ability to multitask and manage time effectively, and a passion for providing excellent HR service.
Job Responsibilities:
- Act as a point of contact and respond to employees’ inquiries, including time off, pay, time and attendance, benefits, EI and sick leaves, HRIS, training, employment letters, etc.,
- Organize and maintain HR personnel files and databases, including employees’ flow tracking system,
- Prepare new employee orientation packages and conduct new hire onboardings,
- Organize and participate in the employee appreciation events,
- Review and update the HR self-service and communication boards,
- Conduct annual HR training sessions,
- Assist the payroll department with various issues regarding team members’ requests,
- Ensure a full cycle recruitment for the production roles,
- Conduct exit interviews,
- Conflict and complaint resolution, including supporting investigations and preparing disciplinary documents,
- Conduct weekly, monthly, and yearly HR reports and analysis,
- Conduct weekly visits to the one of the assigned locations,
- Conduct weekly HR plant walks,
- Other HR-related assignments as required.
Qualifications and Requirements
- College diploma or university degree in Human Resources or related field,
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar role,
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills,
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills,
- Computer fluency including strong knowledge of Excel; HRIS is an asset,
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
