Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Senior Financial Reporting Specialist on a temporary 12 month basis on our Finance team.
This position is a hybrid opportunity and is based in Saskatoon, SK.

What you’ll do:
- Support the execution of complex business transactions across the CRS, by providing accounting expertise and direction relating to business combinations, expansions and acquisitions.
- Mitigate risk and liability by ensuring compliance with IFRS standards, corporate policies and procedures, ensuring situations are resolved and contain potential risks.
- Lead the preparation of various financial statement note disclosures, including providing review support to ensure the accuracy and completeness of external disclosures.
- Work collaboratively to develop strong working relationships with internal and external professionals at multiple levels and exercise a high level of rigor and attention to detail in written and verbal communication.
Who you’ll work with :
The Team: You will work closely with the Corporate Accounting team and will report to the Manager, External Reporting. This team strives to cultivate a culture of teamwork and collaboration to provide the best and most accurate service to the CRS.
The Collaborators: You will work closely with other functions in our Finance business unit and collaborate across the organization with project teams, local Co-op leaders and other business unit leaders.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Finance and:
- Have 6-9 years experience in both accounting and financial reporting
- Have a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce or Business, with a focus in Accounting (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered)
- Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation is required
