Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Corporate Accounting Analyst on a permanent basis on our Finance team. This is a hybrid opportunity and will be based in Saskatoon, SK.

What you’ll do:
- Participate in all aspects of the monthly and quarterly internal financial reporting process, including the preparation of the consolidated financial statements, allocations, preparation of required analysis and supporting documentation, and reporting to accounting supervisors and users.
- Assist with the external consolidation process and preparation of the audited financial statements, management’s discussion, and analysis, including assigned calculations and notes to the consolidated statements. As well as being responsible to coordinate logistical arrangements with the external auditors.
- Participates in the preparation and review of deliverables in the annual budget cycle, this involves preparation, review and analysis over budget inputs required from the Financial Reporting group.
- Support the review of existing processes and propose updates and improvements to practices aligning with system changes prior to the technology implementation and collaborate with business unit members to map, document, and establish new processes, as approved by team leaders.

You will work closely with the Finance team and participate in financial reporting, projects and strategic initiatives. You will report into the Manager, CRS Loyalty Accounting on a team that strives to cultivate a culture of collaboration, innovation and empowerment.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Finance and:
- Have 3-6 years relevant experience of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and a preference for systems and/or consolidation experience.
- Have a Bachelor of Commerce/Business with an Accounting major (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
- Are working towards or have a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation.
