Position Overview: We’re looking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic individual to join our finance team as a Part-Time Bookkeeper. If you have a passion for numbers, a knack for organization, and enjoy being part of a dynamic team, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities:
● Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process in
QuickBooks Online.
● Produce various accounting reports for internal purposes.
● Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll and accounts payable.
● Complete and submit tax remittance forms, workers & compensation forms, and other government documents.
● Prepare and submit monthly PST & GST returns.
● Perform monthly bank and balance sheet account reconciliations.
● Collaborate with our accountant to prepare yearly financial reports.
Required Skills & Experience:
● Completion of a recognized program in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related field.
● A minimum of five years of bookkeeping experience.
● Proficiency with QuickBooks Online.
● Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
● Excellent communication and organizational skills.
● High attention to detail and accuracy.
● Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive financial information.
