Supported Lifestyles Ltd. is a not-for-profit agency that provides services to individuals with developmental disabilities and mental health challenges. Our mission is to provide highly specialized, quality supports to individuals with complex disabilities.
Supported Lifestyles is currently looking for an Accounting Generalist to join the administration team. The successful candidate will work cohesively in a team and work closely with accounting assistants, an accountant, and a contract specialist. The typical schedule for this position is a 40-hour work week from Monday to Friday with the typical hours being 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Some flexibility in hours is required for this position.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities of this position may include but are not limited to the following:
- Processing payroll on a semi-monthly basis.
- Performing Accounts Payable and Receivable.
- Maintaining employee payroll files.
- Reconciliations and preparing and mailing invoices.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Minimum of one year of formal education in payroll or accounting.
- Experience working with Avanti and Sage preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and must be able to process large and complex payrolls.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Ability to work with a sense of urgency and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal, problem solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment or independently.
- Computer knowledge and experience including all current Microsoft Office programs.
- Self-starter with a high degree of initiative.
Compensation
The salary range for this position is $51,277.82 to $61, 582.35. We also offer a competitive benefits package and growth opportunities.
