Cycle North Powersports is seeking an Accounts Payable / Inventory Clerk / Back-up Payroll Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate must have an accounting background, is very organized and be able and willing to work in a team environment. Previous Automotive or Powersports Dealership experience is preferred.
This job encompasses many aspects of the dealership and includes a variety of duties and tasks. Some of those duties are:
- Analyze invoices for accuracy and eligibility for payment
-Enter new unit inventory into Lightspeed POS software
- Payroll
- Applying for applicable rebates on units
- F&I Administration
- Process invoices using accounting software
- Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances
- Prepare batch check runs, wire transfers, and ACH payments
- Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
- Resolve invoice discrepancies
- Maintain vendor files and correspond with vendors regarding inquiries
- Answering phones
Requirements
- Proven working experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk or in a similar role
- Proficiency in Google Docs, Spreadsheets, Microsoft Office etc
- Proficiency in accounting software such as ADP, CDK, Lightspeed, PeopleSoft, Sage, or similar systems
- Familiarity with ADP, Kronos, or related payroll systems is a plus
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles
- Excellent data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports
Our hours are Tuesday to Saturday from 9 am to 5.30 PM. The start date for this job is as soon as possible so you can have to train with our existing person before she leaves.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $20.00-$27.50 per hour
