DWB is hiring! We are currently seeking applications for a Accounts Payable Clerk to work with our accounting team. This is a full time term position extending to end of December 2024. College or University Students with a sufficiently flexible schedule are eligible to apply. The position will be based out of our Prince George office and is available for immediate start. The pay range for this position is $24-$25.50/hr, pay will be commensurate with education, knowledge and experience.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Familiar with MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS Access and the accounts payable module of Sage 50
Comfortable with the business use of computers and desktop scanners
Accuracy in data entry and a good knowledge of filing digital and paper records
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism
Personable with strong interpersonal and communication skills to be able to work with our accounting team and to be able to discuss AP vouchers with project managers.

YOUR ROLE:

Obtain coding for payable invoices, credit card receipts, and expense receipts. Accurately enter vouchers into Sage 50
Scan and digitally file vouchers following company processes
File paper records as needed at the discretion of the accounting team
Scan current paper records into digital format following processes for naming and file storage protocol
Other basic data sourcing and handling tasks

DWB offers a competitive salary and year end bonus. In lieu of participation in the company RRSP program, a 2% premium will be added to your pay. Vacation pay accrued at 4%.
