Overview:
Pilon Tool Rentals (1972) Ltd, a locally owned and operated Garden & Equipment Rental company based in Courtenay, is seeking a dedicated Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in managing accounts receivable processes and ensuring the financial health of our organization.
Duties:
- Process accounts receivable transactions promptly and accurately.
- Perform account reconciliations to ensure all payments are accounted for.
- Utilize software including Sage, Excel & Outlook.
- Analyze financial information to identify discrepancies and resolve issues efficiently.
- Collaborate with internal teams to address customer inquiries and resolve payment discrepancies.
- Assist in month-end closing activities by preparing reports and reconciling accounts.
- Maintain organized records of transactions and customer interactions for audit purposes.
- Contribute to the improvement of accounts receivable procedures and policies.

Requirements:
- Proficiency in math and accounting principles.
- Previous experience as an Accounts Receivable Clerk or similar role.
- Familiarity with Accounts Receivable processes and best practices.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and analysis.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and internal teams.
- Capability to prioritize tasks effectively.
