Job Overview:
We seek a highly detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable / Office Administrator person to join our team. The ideal candidate will have great interpersonal skills and enjoy a team environment.
We're an eleven-year-old company specializing in carbon rims and building wheelsets for high-end bikes worldwide. Self-motivated individuals who share our passion for bikes will be at home in an environment that allows for autonomy, flexibility and a fantastic work/life balance!
This position is based out of our facility in the heart of Cumberland, BC, a stone's throw away from world-class singletrack, beautiful Comox Lake, and fantastic food and drink establishments.
Responsibilities:
- Pay suppliers and file invoices (we have an accountant and bookkeeper)
- Google Drive organization projects
- Competitor Research
- Assist with staff/community events
- Direct incoming calls, assist the customer service team
- Create UPS/Canada Post return waybills for warranty orders
- Pickup UPS/Canada Post packages locally
- Close out daily orders
- Update weekly production stats
- Report Preparation
- Other administration duties as assigned
Our ideal applicant has:
- Cycling knowledge and is stoked for all things bike!
- Passion and thrives in a team environment
- Any background in a ticket-based system like Zendesk or Freshdesk is an asset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication. You're comfortable working behind a screen, on the phone, and in person.
- An extremely high attention to detail.
- Working knowledge of Excel, Google suite and other common computer applications.
- An ability to work evenings and weekends on occasion.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $42,000.00-$51,060.00 per year
