What you will do:
The Accounts Receivable Associate may perform a variety of Accounts Receivable tasks which include generating and distributing invoices, processing accounts receivables and incoming payment receipts in compliance with financial policies and procedures. In addition, performs day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables data. Role may also include responsibility for collection efforts and functions.
This is a hybrid position (3 days in the office per week). Office location is 137 Northfield Drive West.
Key Responsibilities

Timely and accurate processing and distribution of client and customer invoicing using PeopleSoft and CRM system, based on contracts, sales orders and other input. Ensure accurate and complete back-up is attached to billing records.

Add and maintain customer and billing information.

Entering cash Receipts of Accounts Receivable Accounts on daily basis. Cash receipts including EFT (Electronic Funds Transfers), Cheque and Credit cards.

Collection calls daily and the issuing of account statements and dunning letters when required.

Manage process to collect on delinquent AR accounts by working with sales teams and external collection agency partner and following up directly with customers.

Provide customer service including answering customer phone calls, email and assist internal or external Accounts Receivable customers

Prepare AR accrual journal entries, BS accounts reconciliation and help with AR month-end close process. AR month-end close process includes making sure that AR-Sub-ledger is reconcile with General Ledger and there is no variance between Ledger and sub-ledger

Other additional task as assigned by the Supervisor.
Education & Certification

A Post- secondary education at the community college level

Diploma or Degree in Business
Experience
-
Experience working with ERP system.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Strong customer service, good communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficient with Microsoft applications (Excel, Word)

Learning skills and attention to details required to resolve AR related issues.
