Adela is focused on the detection of cancer and other high-morbidity, high-mortality conditions through a blood test. The Company’s genome-wide methylation analysis technology has the unique ability to distinguish the most highly informative (methylated) regions of the genome from the non-informative regions and preferentially target those informative regions for sequencing. The technology is initially being developed for use across the cancer continuum for detection, diagnosis, and management, and in the future, it will be applied to other conditions beyond cancer.

We're currently seeking a Remote Executive Assistant to provide crucial support to our CEO and Executive team. If you're a pro at managing calendars for C-Suite executives and skilled in Microsoft Office, we want to hear from you!

This remote position requires 25-40 hours per week, ideally from 12 pm to 4 pm ET or 1 to 5pm ET, Monday to Friday, with potential for increased hours.

Responsibilities include:

Remote administrative support for the executive team, accommodating pacific to eastern time zones

Expertly managing calendars and scheduling appointments across different time zones with impeccable time management skills

Assist with travel arrangements, including flights and accommodations

Event planning to include team offsites and coordination of board meetings.

Communicating effectively and professionally both internally and externally, including with partners, collaborators, and board members.

Collaborate on various projects with team members

This schedule requires a regular 4 hours per day schedule, five days a week.

Ability to monitor emails periodically throughout the day and collaborate with the Executive Team members between 9 am and 5 pm pst.

Ideal Candidate:

Previous experience as a virtual assistant or in a similar role preferred

Proficient in Microsoft Office or equivalent tools

Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail

Responsive with a customer service-oriented mindset

Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Comfortable with remote work and virtual communication tools to enhance productivity and efficiency

The salary range is $25 to $27 per hour, Canadian Dollars.This range is determined based on various factors including experience, qualifications, and market standards.
