The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing incoming payments, monitoring customer accounts, and ensuring accuracy in financial records.
Responsibilities:
- Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts receivables' data
- Prepare bills, invoices, and bank deposits
- Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted
- Verify discrepancies by resolving clients' billing issues
- Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts receivable status
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Clerk or in a similar role
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks
- Strong analytical skills to analyze financial information and detect discrepancies
- Excellent data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices
- Familiarity with accounts payable processes is a plus
- Exceptional customer service skills to interact with clients regarding billing inquiries
- Ability to perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies efficiently
- Knowledge of PIMARC, Open Invoice and Workbench considered an asset.
