About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Specialist to support our financial operations. In this role, you will be responsible for processing vendor invoices, managing billing and collections, reconciling accounts, and contributing to month-end and year-end financial tasks. Your expertise will ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures while supporting the accuracy and integrity of our accounting processes.

A Day-to-Day Look at the Role
In this role, you will:
- Process vendor invoices, tax remittance payments, and cost center allocations within the general ledger.
- Manage weekly and monthly billing, collections, and resolve billing exceptions.
- Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and bank deposits.
- Collaborate with department leaders and vendors to address inquiries and approvals.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including audits and capital expenditure reporting.
- Maintain sub-ledger to general ledger reconciliations for key accounts.
Who We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate is organized, results-driven, and detail-oriented, with strong communication skills and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment. Key qualifications include:
- A certificate, diploma, or degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (experience with Business Central/Dynamics ERP is an asset).
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently when needed.
