Job Description:
The Accounting clerk performs a variety of general accounting support tasks in the accounting department.
Duties:
- Verifying the accuracy of invoices and other accounting document s or records.
- Update and maintain the direct bill statement.
- Other records detailing financial business transactions (e.g. bank deposits, disbursements, expense vouchers, accounts payable and accounts receivable, including e transfer and broker cheque.)
- Reconciles accounts in a timely manner
- Recommends actions to resolve discrepancies
Qualifications:
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Accounting Software
- Organizational, verbal and written communication skills a must
- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task is an asset
- Requires 2 years’ experience – proven accounting experience, preferably as an Accounts receivable clerk
- Fluent in English
Salary: $40K- $45k Negotiable
