Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in accounting processes, and maintaining compliance with financial regulations. This role requires proficiency in various accounting software and a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles.
Responsibilities
- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.
- Conduct account analysis and prepare detailed reports for management review.
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage for efficient bookkeeping operations.
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions and ensure timely entries into the accounting system.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including account reconciliation.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial data and support overall business operations.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices in bookkeeping.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software, particularly QuickBooks.
- Experience with bank reconciliation and account analysis is highly desirable.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues and clients.
