This role supports the Accounts Receivable Manager while providing key financial insights and contributing to process optimization within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately post and reconcile customer payments and invoices to ensure financial accuracy.
- Manage collections, monitor overdue accounts, and ensure compliance with payment terms.
- Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies with customers while maintaining positive relationships.
- Conduct monthly account reconciliations and prepare aging reports for management review.
- Analyze data related to cash management, payment patterns, and collection trends to identify insights and opportunities.
- Support month-end close processes and provide key financial reporting.
- Develop and run advanced Excel models, including creating and utilizing macros for data analysis.
- Participate in ERP system implementation and contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 4+ years of relevant experience in Accounts Receivable, collections, and financial analysis.
- Technical Skills: Advanced Excel skills, including proficiency in creating and running macros.
- Experience with ERP systems and process improvement initiatives is a strong asset.
- Analytical Abilities: Strong data analysis skills with a focus on improving cash flow and operational efficiency.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage high volumes of work while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
