Overview of the Position
This position is an on-site role, based in our beautiful Home Office, which is located at 475 Panet Road, in Winnipeg.
As part of the Finance team, the Accounts Payable Coordinator is responsible for processing domestic trade, freight and expense payable invoices from vendors, and Princess Auto's stores and Home Office.
A typical day will be spent working as part of a team that receives, reconciles and processes invoices while ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures. You will match invoice details to purchase orders, prepare invoices for entry, assist in coordinating payment processing and maintain accurate vendor information and accounts payable. Using an electronic expense management system, you will process Team Member expense reports ensuring compliance with expense policies and accurate processing of related payments.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Post-secondary education in administration is desired
- 1-2 years relevant experience is desired
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Power Point
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Highly organized
- Fluency in French (reading, writing, speaking) is an asset
