About The Job
The HR Coordinator will support the HR team in achieving their strategic objectives, across various and critical functions, such as payroll & administration, compensation & benefits, leave management and projects such as internal communication. The HR Coordinator will ensure a flawless execution of all HR administrative tasks, a seamless employee experience and contribute to a strong internal communication roadmap by curating engaging HR content.
The HR Coordinator will act as a “Change Agent” to support cultural changes across the business, driving a culture of empowerment, development and simplification.
Job responsibilities
Main responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
HR ADMINISTRATION & REPORTING - Undertake the administration related to all HR processes, in particular:
- Efficiently manage the onboarding and offboarding processes of our new and departing employees
- Maintain accurate records ensuring personnel files are meticulously documented and updated
- Accurately record staff absences
- Provide employment references when required
- Support employees in the use of timekeeping and self-service systems
- Generate HR monthly reports (turnover, headcounts, recruitments, etc.)
- Conduct audits to ensure accuracy across systems
Compensation, Benefits & Leave Management
- Prepare & audit payroll, partnering with LVMH shared services, to submit on a bi-weekly basis
- Ensure compliance with Provincial and Federal payroll legislations and practices
- Support the C&B Manager by assisting with the implementation and ongoing administration of all compensation initiatives including commission programs, bonus programs, and annual reviews
- Partner with third party vendors, C&B Manager and HR Managers on the leaves of absences (Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, Worker’s Compensation Claims)
PROJECTS & INTERNAL COMMUNICATION
- Design and craft engaging HR content for internal communication purposes
- Keep HR information updated on the zone intranet system and generate new content if needed in partnership with our Zone Corporate partners
- Actively contribute to various HR projects (DE&I initiatives, employer branding activations, learning & development programs...)
Profile
We are seeking a true business partner who possesses strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to details and a genuine passion for building relationships. The ideal candidate will be a creative problem-solver driven to push boundaries and who recognizes the vital role of Human Resources in fostering employee engagement and driving business growth.
Excel proficiency and presentation design skills (Canva, Power-Point) are required.
The position requires 4 days per week on-site in the Louis Vuitton Corporate Office located in Toronto, ON.
