**Position Overview:**
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage all accounts receivable functions across our operations in Canada, the USA, and the UK. This role is crucial in ensuring timely collection of revenue, accurate record-keeping, and maintaining positive relationships with our clients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of billing and collections, coupled with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Accounts Receivable Management:** Manage the end-to-end accounts receivable process, ensuring timely collection of outstanding payments across all regions.
- **Invoicing:** Generate, review, and distribute invoices accurately and promptly to clients, ensuring clarity and compliance with contractual terms.
- **Collections:** Proactively follow up with clients for timely payment and address any billing or payment inquiries to minimize aged receivables.
- **Dispute Resolution:** Collaborate with clients and internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies or disputes, facilitating quick resolution while maintaining positive client relationships.
- **Reporting:** Prepare regular accounts receivable reports, including aging reports, and present collection status updates to management.
- **Process Improvement:** Identify and implement improvements in accounts receivable processes and systems to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
- **Compliance:** Ensure adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and financial laws across all relevant regions.
- **Cross-Department Collaboration:** Work closely with the sales, customer service, and finance teams to streamline the accounts receivable process and improve customer experience.
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in accounts receivable or a similar role, ideally within the financial services or digital lead generation industries.
- Strong understanding of accounts receivable processes, invoicing, and collections best practices.
- Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems; experience with [mention any specific software your company uses, e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Salesforce].
- Excellent analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
