Agilus is recruiting for an Accounting Assistant in the Not For Profit Industry in Victoria, British Columbia.
A typical day:
- Experience with accounts payable processing and monitoring
- Experience with cash management
- Experience with general payroll knowledge is required
- Proficient with data management
Successful candidates will have:
- 3 years of recent Canadian accounting experience in an intermediate accounting role
- Completion of the second year of a recognized accounting programme, and/or Equivalent accounting training as part of a post-secondary Business & Commerce programme may be considered.
- High level of proficiency with MS Office Suite. • Experience with Sharevision, Adagio, and PayDirt, are assets
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Must be fully vaccinated due to working with a vulnerable population
- Please note this is a union position
