Position Overview:
The Office and HR Administrator will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth office operations and effective human resource management. This position requires a blend of administrative skills, HR knowledge, and a passion for supporting our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Office Administration:
- Answer and direct phone calls and emails.
- Organize and maintain filing systems.
- Prepare reports and other documentation as needed.
- Process invoices and manage accounts payable/receivable.
- Human Resources:
- Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with labor regulations.
- Support onboarding processes for new hires.
- Assist with payroll and benefits administration.
- Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR inquiries and office policies.
- Foster a positive work environment through effective communication and support.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in office administration and HR roles, preferably in the construction industry.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HR software.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
